Free Lectures on World War II

The Harvard University History Department and Extension School has now made it easier for you to learn about World War II without having to pay a dime.

Free video lectures (or audio - your preference) are now available through their website. Taught by Charles S. Maier, PhD, Leverett Saltonstall Professor of History, Harvard University, this course begins with the end of World War I and goes all the way through to the origins of the Cold War.

Here is the full link:

Enjoy!

Have you watched all of them? I've gotten through the first one and a bit of the second. I miss history lectures...total history geek moment :)

Oh, I completely get what you're saying - I miss the lectures, too! In fact, I even looked at auditing a class here at the local university, but I actually had to enroll as a student. I wasn't happy as my brain misses the lectures (not the assignments, though!)

I haven't gotten past the first one yet - hard to find the time to listen to them, but I plan to get through them.

Also reading Antony Beever's The Second World War (it is MAMMOTH) and that's taking me awhile to get through.
